Proverbs 8: 32-36
Now then, my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.

Watching daily at wisdom’s doors. God knows how much we need DAILY bread. Pray before you read, asking God to open your eyes (Ps. 119:18) and to send His Spirit to teach you (John 14:26). Because the fruit is life — Life! Tonight as I write, Annie, I feel almost desperate for some of that Life. Think I’ll go take some of my own advice. (PS – I love you.)
