October 1 – II Chronicles 5: 13-14

II Chronicles 5: 13-14
The trumpeter and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:
“He is good; His love endures forever.”
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

Wow! Isn’t this another great picture of unity? Everyone praising the Lord together “as with one voice.” (And don’t read too fast over what they’re saying — He is good. His love endures forever. Sometimes I think I hear that so much that I don’t let it sink in.) And then — whooom — God’s presence is THERE! It still happens, Annie.
