October 15 – Philippians 1:6
Philippians 1:6 Amp
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ — right up to the time of His return — developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
And I (your mama!) am convinced that He Who oversaw your conception and your miraculous healing and protected you through your “active” (thought I’d use a kind version!) childhood, caused you to become what someone has called a “fresh breeze” in a room, broken your heart over sin and taught you to repent, and, through it all, has continually drawn you closer and closer to Him, that He Who has given you such a heart for Him, for His Word, for His people, will keep calling you, will keep answering when you call, will be perfecting your heart, will “present you holy and faultless and irreproachable” in His (and your) Father’s presence. I do love you, Annie. (And I didn’t make it through this one with dry eyes. : ) )
