Psalm 37:3 (Amp)
Trust (lean on, rely on, be confident ) in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.
There are two parts for you to do in this: trusting and doing good. “Dwelling in the land” would refer to inheriting His promises. The Israelites always owned the land, but God would allow them to live there only if they followed Him as Lord. Many blessings accompanied “dwelling in the land.” Today and the next few days are all from Psalm 37, one of my favorites. I’ve never had a problem that reading this psalm couldn’t solve, at least in instructing me in my role in it. I also watched someone follow this verse in a very tough situation — to see the end results be almost miraculous.

Jemima, Debbie told me to go look at your blog before I answered you. I can see why. I had tears in my eyes — and was truly humbled that you would say anything I wrote was inspiring to you. Oh my, there seems to be a lot of tears going round, i have been teary all morning too…,and because of the comment you made, i went back to re read that psalm and i cannot believe how loaded it is, it is chock full of God’s wisdom and comfort, i have had a tough couple of months just struggling and today i am so blessed, i am gonna keep reading…why did i not notice how rich that psalm was before..i am the one that is humbled that you would be interested in anything i have to write…and i am giggling now @ the third lamp post..surely the lamps in heaven will only be for the decor 😉 …. for the glory of God illuminated it, the lamb is its light!…alleluyah!…i’ll be stalking:)
