Puppy vs. Kitten
Meet Casper – as in, Casper, the Friendly Ghost.
This is Casper, the Friendly Puppy.
Casper is staying with us for a couple months for training. We think he has great potential. He can already levitate.
I will haunt you in your sleep with my piteous howls.
Casper loooooves the kitties.
Unfortunately, he has discovered the clawed end of the fuzzballs.
He was doing well to be out from behind my legs here.
Kitties are so temptingly soft and squishy.
Kitty-Kitty (who, by the way, is a boy and is still nameless) takes up a defensive position in a fortress of hay.
C’mon, young cowboy, I dare ya.
Kitty has at least three months more experience in this world than Casper.
The brave puppy circles around from behind, which is less shielded…
aaaand bolts!
Wisely choosing the front side, which has more hay between him and the cat, the puppy gets closer…
and closer…
and POUNCES! Kitty, Casper, and hay go flying.
Kitty, with a nice little ridge of fur on his back, doesn’t appear happy. Don’t mess with me, man.
Casper retreats to a safe place, where he can pine away in sorrow for his fuzzy Kitty.
That’s what I thought. And stay there.
Just when we thought life around here was beginning to feel adventure-free, along comes Casper to save the day! Kitty and I love him for it (and some days in spite of it).
those were a fun series 🙂
I read this to my kids and they wanted to see the pictures again and again 🙂 they were giggling so hard!
Ditto here, only I was reading it to myself, over and over! And laughing out loud every time!
Oh Debbie, your life (and your blog) is so full of life! I love it!
Debbie, looks like Casper is having fun. He is missed around our house but it’s nice to see the pics. I sent Raina the link so she can look.
Debbie
Great pics of Casper. My wife & I can tell that there is a lot of love and fun with your Christian Family!
Great job! Keep up the good work. It’s nice to see a family that does things together.
