March 5 – Proverbs 14:1
Proverbs 14:1 Amplified Bible
Every wise woman builds her house, but the
foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
You’ve just moved into the first house that’s really
yours. A new beginning. Now…what kind of “house”
will you build there? “Build” is such a proactive
word. I see industriousness, joy, creativity,
aprons, beauty, cleanliness, flowers, a
piece of parsley tucked somewhere on a plate,
looking into your husband’s eyes, lying on the floor
watching your baby. What does “building your house”
look like to you? Make your own list! (And you’re
not limited to a 3×5!) I’m excited for you.

So I read your post this morning, and then went and properly cleaned my bedroom. It’s now fresh and clean and pretty and looks like the haven it was meant to be again!
Doesn’t that feel so restful? I love a deep-cleaned room. Even it it doesn’t look much different, I know it’s clean. Funny you should use the word “haven.” You’ll see it again in a day or two!
