June 26 – Proverbs 16:24

Proverbs 16:24
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

I’ve wondered (with hope!) if this could be literally true, and if the “soul” and “bones” are those of the speaker or of the hearer, or both. But, no matter what the answers are, it’s a real incentive to have pleasant words. Sweet, healing words. A balm for the world around you.
