Crocheted Infant Cap

My 19-year-old sister-in-law is staying with us for a while. She watched me write a few posts, and then she asked if I would like to post a picture of a project she just finished. I said YES! This post is written by her.

I’m expecting a baby, so I was trying to work on crocheting projects for some down time. My plan was to make a baby blanket, and this is what I got out of it!

I was going to start by making a circle that would become a square blanket, but it started forming a cone instead! So I just kept crocheting, and then it started looking like a baby hat.

It’s a little small, so I’m going to use it for decoration and then try to come up with a larger one that might actually work and has fewer gaping holes! 🙂

She and I took some pictures with a black backdrop yesterday, and this is the one we liked best:

Thank you, dear girl, for posting today!
