3x5s Introduction

For her birthday in October last year, my youngest, who was then going to college, working, and being a wife, asked me if I would write out a year’s worth of Bible verses on 3×5 cards for her. Something she could read at breakfast with her tea. She also wanted me to comment on the verse, with the whole thing, verse and comment, not covering more than the front of a 3×5, and it had to be in my own handwriting. (Yes, she’s bossy, and she likes it. And, somehow, so do all of the rest of us!) Some of her siblings suggested I post these for all of them to see, too. So, if you’re reading, you’re reading over Annie’s shoulder as she sips her tea.

I’m no expert, no scholar; just a mama writing to her daughter. You’re welcome to pour yourself a cup of tea, too, and join her.

    Judy,

I’m delighted to be able to share life a little more with you as well as with your three precious daughters!

Another blog to look forward to! I am excited about these teacup Bible verses. Can I read them over a Dr Pepper instead though? Judy, I am literally counting the days til your visit. When you are here, remind me to tell you about the dream that these “Letters from the Loft” inspired (at least I think that is what inspired the dream…)

Woohoo! Now I feel like I can have a visit with you at any time. I love the picture of your hand – it almost made me cry! I think it’s ‘cuz I’ve seen those hands carry out your heart for Jesus. Glory seen.

You guys truly humble me with your love for me. Humbled right now to the point of tears, in fact. Know that I love you, too.
